scrapbook layout - african wild life

I tore the edges of the designer paper, which is a design of a map.  I distressed the edges with Charcoal distress ink - from Stampin' Up!'s distress kit.  I used the botanical gazette designer paper (from Stampin' Up! Occasions catalog) for the accent of the green and the tan.  It's hard to see in the photo, but the green has subtle butterflies on it.
The tag I made using vanilla cardstock, charcoal distress ink, and some stamps from my Calendar stamp set by Swiss Girl Designs.  I stamped also the birds in the upper edge for balance.  This image is from Stampin' Up!'s set, Clearly for You.
This page officially completes my Oregon vacation album.  My next album will be my 8x8 album of me and my husband's 8th and 9th year wedding anniversaries.  For our 8th year, we went to Monterey, CA - which is very sentimental to us, and is one of our favorite places.  For our 9th year, we went to San Diego, CA.  So these layouts will be smaller and will probably have more journaling.  Stay tuned for these future layouts by me!
I hope you're inspired to keep on working through your photos - you'll reach completion of an event and it is satisfying to see the entire package together as a whole.
Happy stamping and scrapping!  By the way, there's still time to be entered into my giveaway.  See previous post and leave me a comment to be entered.  Winner will be randomly chosen from comments left here and on my facebook page, so comment before Saturday!  =) Thank you all for your support.
