Paper Crafter's Library - March Design Team Projects!

Wow!  We are at my second month of being a design team member on the Paper Crafter's Library site.  I'm still feeling honored and humbled by this opportunity! If you're unfamiliar with Paper Crafter's Library, I encourage you to stop by their website.  There's a lot of projects shared on their blog throughout the week as well as complementary videos.  If you like what you see, why not become a member?  You'll get triple the amount of projects and videos, right at your fingertips, plus PDF instructions and downloadable templates.  Also, you'll get to see the videos for all of the Design Team projects.  Stop on by and leave a comment - let them know I sent ya!
Now, on to my projects for the month.
My first project is a scrapbook layout.  I'm proud of myself, as I was able to mix a variety of patterned papers (all from one collection) as well as stamp and sew on this one layout!   Using the coordinating die cuts from the Pink Paisley Vintage Vogue collection really made this easy to make my coordinating accents.  Layering die cuts is such a simple way to make great accents for your layouts or as a focal point on a card.  Of course I added buttons throughout the layout.  I truly think buttons are my "go-to" embellishment on nearly every project!  =)
For the PDF instructions and video tutorial - you need to be a Paper Crafter's Library member.  Check out all the benefits of being a member - trust me, you will not be disappointed.

My second project is more of a gift set.  I made a set of 6 "all occasion" gift tags.  I kept them pretty neutral so they could be used for various occasions.  Each tag has a different stamping technique or product used.  My video tutorial shows how quick and easy each of these tags were to make.

With these tags I felt it was necessary to have a cute package so they could be given as a gift to a friend, or kept for yourself for future gift giving.  So I made a bag topper to go atop the cello bag where these tags can be displayed and readily available for use. This is such a quick and easy project and it makes a fun gift too.

My third project showcases my favorite embellishment (besides buttons) - WASHI TAPE!  I used the tape to make these fun banners on this card.  What is washi tape and how do you use it?  You'd have to watch my videos over at Paper Crafter's Library.  I created a product review video on washi tapes as well as a video tutorial on how to make this card.
Lots of fun stuff this month.  I hope you like my projects.  Thank you all for your support - I appreciate it.  =)
I will announce the winner of my giveaway later this week.  I've been a bit behind and trying to catch up.  Thanks for your patience.

  1. What an adorable picture of Haylie to work with. I like the multiple layers to give the page depth and dimension. The gift tags would make a perfect gift in themselves, and the card is really nice. I like washi tape, too, but only have one roll of it. If it weren't for the crowds, I'd go to the Scrapbook Expo and look for some -- tee hee!!
