May design team projects

I was unable to post photos of my projects I made for Paper Crafter's Library.  So I decided to share them with you today, in case you didn't get a chance to see them on the PCL blog.

This first project was a baby neutral card.  I used the same technique I shared before with chalk and a Versamarker to color in the image.  If you missed that tutorial, you can watch it by clicking HERE.  I really like how the brown button contrasts the yellow ribbon.

My second project was a scrapbook layout.  This layout was a little different since I had 3 photos but of different sizes.  To make the smaller photo stand out, I placed it in the middle and put a wider mat of white cardstock around it.  Then I also put it on dimensional adhesive.
I mixed stickers and stamps to make the title up the side of the layout and along the top.  I was able to add stitching to add more texture and visual interest.  This was a fun layout since I combined washi tape, twine, die cuts, stamps and stitching all on one layout!

My third project is a quick and easy one, that literally was made in less than 5 minutes!  These are clothespins with magnets on them so you can clip things onto a magnetic surface.  Super easy and cheap too!  A great way to use up paper scraps and some embellishments that are now solo or don't seem to match with anything else.

These videos are available to Paper Crafter Library members only.  So check out their site to get more details about becoming a member.  There's so much going on over there and new videos are posted on a daily basis!

I hope you liked my projects for this month.  Happy creating!
